Apart from coronavirus, fake news circulation has become another threat to the nation as people receive many articles and information from unverified sources and forward it to others without questioning the credibility of it. This can not only mislead masses but can have serious consequences.
In light of this, WhatsApp is planning to limit the sharing of frequently forwarded messages to one contact at a time. This feature will come with the next update.
