We still can’t get over Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s dream wedding pictures and videos and as the wedding is over it’s time to take a closer look at the ceremony. Looking at the details we came to know that the Duke of Sussex has subtly included his late mother, Princess Diana in so many different ways in his marriage subtle gestures too? .
The Duke proposed Meghan with a ring he designed himself. It had stones from Diana’s jewelry collection. He also gifted her a stunning aquamarine ring that belonged to Princess Diana and the Duchess wore it on her reception.
Meghan Markle’s bouquet also paid tribute to Diana. It had Forget-Me-Nots that are Diana's favorite flowers. The duo specially chose them to be included in the bouquet.
The couple also chose to play “Guide Me, O Thy Great Redeemer” during their service. It is the same hymn that was sung at Diana’s funeral.
Lastly, the couple asked donations for their favorite non-profits in lieu of wedding gifts, and those charities were Chiva and Crisis that work towards ending homelessness. This is what Diana too loved to work for.
Price Harry also made sure that his mother’s side of the family was a part of his big day. Her siblings, Princess of Wales was present and Lady Jane Fellowes gave the reading.

It was said that the chair left vacant next to Prince William during the ceremony was in the memory of Princess Diana, but the reason behind it was that there’s always an empty chair in front of the Queen so that her views are clear.
Some reports about the spare seat in the chapel as having being left in memory of Diana. It wasn’t empty for that reason. The seat in front of the Queen is always left empty #royalwedding pic.twitter.com/2DJRVq55H9
