A woman living in Ajman filed a divorce from her husband because he wouldn’t let her play the online game PUBG.
She took help from the Ajman police’s social centre and gave the reason that she had a fight with her hubby over the game which turned violent.“The woman justified her demand for divorce by saying that she was being deprived of her right to choose her means of entertainment as she derived pleasure and comfort from the game,” said Al Hosani, director of the Social Centre at Ajman Police.
Her husband wanted her to stop this so that she doesn't get addicted to it and ignore her home responsibilities whereas according to her she does it in limits and was just playing with family and friends.
She also revealed that her personal chat options are closed so that no stranger could text. This is not for the first time that complains related to PUBG has come up as recently Iraq banned the game for “inciting violence”. Besides this, many parents in the UAE and other countries have appealed for a ban on the game as children are getting negatively affected by it.
