A YEAR TO THE DAY THAT WE BOUGHT OUR HOUSE ???? As if it took this long to sort the garden, head to my stories to see how we transformed that in only a few days! We're still in love with the lounge we completely recently. Swipe across to see us now, our hair has also changed a little ???????? - We're out having a date night to celebrate this anniversary and all our hard work in the garden ?? We still have so much more to do to the house, but hey we're on a budget, we like to do the work ourselves where we can and we're in no rush to get it all done. - I see people who can renovate a whole place in a year, I mean we would if we could but I'm also glad we can't. No rushing into decisions, instead we're letting things come together slowly ????????

Realised I never showed off my new custom made @bland_design coffee table ? Hand painted pink marble with hand gilded brass leafing and even gold veining ???????? Swipe across for a close up! His work is insane, next project together is a good one ???? - Pet teepee DIY tutorial is live on the boys page @chesterandblu ???? It's so simple to make and low cost, I already had everything I needed in my home ???????? - My friend Chris has FINALLY made an Instagram for his trade work @c.woodcock_building Good thing that pigeon flew through and broke my window, otherwise I'd never have reconnected with him! He's just completed sorting my soffits, fascias, gutters and downpipes. Check his page for the before/afters ???? In this lounge I made him cut down a cast iron insert for the fireplace which looks like it always belonged here ???? And he'll be the one I get to tackle the bathroom reno, fingers crossed that all can happen ???????? - Lots of updating there ???? thank you if you managed to read all that ??

ad Guest room make over is done! For those of you that may have missed all this, it was my 30th last weekend and I had surprise guests visiting. Instead of them sleeping on an airbed in an ugly blue room, I took it as a chance to make over another room in the house (in 5 days ????). A massive thank you to @argoshome who kitted me out and helped make this the perfect guest room ???????? Paul's already asked if this can be ours now instead of the 'white room' ???? Guess this is the 'pink floor' room now ???? - Don't forget to head to my YouTube channel (linked in my bio) for the full video showing the before, process including painting our new #argoshome furniture and more importantly the afters ???????? - Sorry my IGTV was such a tease with the ending ???? but thank you to those that went to view my YouTube video, the views have been so good! My 30s hitting me like.. ???? It's my 30th birthday today! Thank you so much for all the lovely messages and also your well wishes about Jaspar. Fingers crossed he makes a turn around over the weekend, although we've been told that's not likely ???????? - If you've been following along on my stories, you'd of seen I've been transforming our spare room and I bloody did it, in 5 days! And not only that, I decided to paint the bathroom too because I was ahead of schedule ???? Here's me after painting the walls and floor, can you feel my happiness and exhaustion at day 3 I think this was ???? Room reveal coming Thursday ???? G A R D E N ???? Realised I've not even posted the garden on my feed which is crazy considering we did this a month ago ???? - Swipe across to see the transformation which we achieved over the space of a long weekend. The whole process is documented in the 'garden' highlight. It's not fully finished, I'm still on the look out for an outdoor rug and festoon lights ? - Since the makeover we've had a BBQ for Paul's early birthday. Almost felt like a house warming as we never did have one and we've been here for a year now! Felt so proud showing our friends what we've done so far and the house felt even bigger having the garden in use ???? Celebrating 50 years since the moon landing by watching it all happen on TV ?????????????????????? I've just witnessed the moment Neil Armstrong says "One small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." It's on channel 4 if you want to watch ???????? - I'm totally fascinated by the cosmos. I adore watching documentaries which give me a headache, as I try to fathom the length of time things took to form, the sheer vastness and it's ever expansion. How tiny we really are in the grand scheme of things ???? - For frames and where I had my photos printed, check my 'gallery wall' highlight. I did this 14 weeks ago and only now getting round to showing it ???? I did film a IGTV of this, which I'll have to get up soon so you can see it fully ????

Just took this photo after stepping into the bedroom, it’s beautifully filled with light this evening, usually the only room that’s got itself together. - Brought a smile to my face seeing @paul_gaul had made the bed ???????? It’s the simple things which make you smile, especially after my day. I was verging on a melt down ???? Agreeing to a job which I probably should have realised would take me longer than expected, meaning I was painting through the night until 5am. I’ve only had 2 hours sleep but I bloody well did it, I did the job, just about made my deadline with HUGE thanks to Paul. I would have completely failed if it wasn’t for his help this morning. So a big shout out of soppy appreciation for Paul, I bloody well love him for how incredibly patient he is with me! Especially when I’m running around stressed ???? Excited to say lounge reveal is coming Sunday evening ???????? - What little things does your partner do that makes you smile and realise how much you appreciate them? ???? Let’s share the love

Sorry for all the new phone story spam, just noticed I lost a load of followers ???? Just excited about what it can do, hardly had to touch this image because I can manually change the settings in camera ???????? It's the new Huawei P30 Pro, I was lucky enough to go to the launch so I got to try it early and I'm obsessed! Full transparency I worked with them for content on my lifestyle account but all work is done and I'm still posting about it because it's genuinely amazing. I've fully moved over to android ??
