Canadian Couple Slammed for Kissing Behind the Dead Lion

Recently a Canadian couple posted a picture of them while kissing next to the lion they hunted. This shocked everyone and resulted in major backlash all over the internet. The duo is a trophy hunting couple who was participating in Legelela Safaris tour. They uploaded the picture on the official page of Legelela Safaris with a post "Hard work in the hot Kalahari sun... Well done. A monster lion,". However it immediately got removed when people got angry and started commenting.
The picture has also triggered the need of banning trophy hunting while many have called this a disgusting act.

When the couple was asked to give opinion on this issue, they denied commenting on it. Eduardo Goncalves of the Campaign said "Trophy hunting is an abomination. The fact that we have so many hunting trophies coming into Britain each year is a stain on our nation's reputation."It is like shooting a zoo animal. These are tame animals born and bred in captivity."There's nothing sporting about trophy hunting, but 'canned hunting' is surely the lowest of the low."
The image also reminded many netizens of Cecil, a lion who lived in the Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe and was killed by an American dentist in 2015.
