Terrifying Things That Have Happened in 2020, Other Than COVID-19!

2020 is surely going to be written in history with black memories. Every other day there is new destruction coming our way, other than coronavirus the earth is getting hit by other disasters as well. From cyclones to earthquakes, here is a list of terrifying things that have happened in 2020 other than the coronavirus pandemic:
• Earthquakes
During the lockdown, various parts of India were hit by earthquakes in May and April. Two days ago New Zealand was also hit by an earthquake.
• Cyclone
Recently cyclone Amphan made landfall in West Bengal, India. The cyclone left a trail of destruction in Bengal and other cities. There have been 12 deaths in West Bengal and 10 deaths in Bangladesh.
• Locust attack
Recently a huge locust attack was spotted in India across the states of Rajasthan and MP. Locust attacks entered into India in April, but some areas are seeing their worst attack in decades, including Jaipur and parts of MP.
• Loud sound in Bangalore
The residents of Bangalore heard a mysterious loud ‘thundering’ sound on 20th May. The loud noise, which was much like a huge crash, was heard at around 1.20 pm and there is no confirmation of what it was.
• Vizag gas leak
On May 7, toxic styrene gas leaked from the LG Polymers chemical plant in Vishakhapatnam and killed 12 people, caused the hospitalization of hundreds.
• Uttarakhand fires
As India deals with a heatwave, the rise in mercury levels has given rise to wildfires in the Uttarakhand region. As per reports, Uttarakhand has lost nearly 51.43 hectares of forest cover which is quite a lot. Even the forest department has been hit hard. They have experienced a loss of 1.32 lakhs.
Before coronavirus pandemic outbreak, Devastating floods in Indonesia, Communal riots in Delhi, Taal volcano eruption, Earthquakes in Turkey and the Caribbean, Gas plant explosion in Lagos, Nigeria, and Locusts swam in East Africa took place.
2020 is so far the worst year!
