Taiwan’s Bikini Climber Dies after Ravine Fall

It’s good to click pictures but at times its obsession leads to serious consequences. Recently Taiwan’s social media star, Gigi Wu , known as Bikini Climber died after a 20m fall. She won millions of hearts and became a sensation because of her bikini pictures she used to take at the highest peaks.
Gigi was on a solo hike from some days and after falling down a ravine in Central Taiwan’s Yushan Mountain she contacted her friend through satellite phone and informed her about her situation. She could not move her lower body because of the leg injury.

Due to the poor weather conditions the rescue helicopters reached her after 28 hours and by then she was found dead. The overnight temperature in the area at an altitude of over 1670m was freezing, said Commander Lin Cheng-I of the Nantou County Fire Department.
