Sushma Swaraj meets a Bollywood Fan

External affairs minister of India, Sushma Swaraj, who was recently on a three-nation tour to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan seem to have met a Bollywood fan on her tour. In a video Sushma Swaraj along with an Uzbek woman can be seen singing the popular Hindi song Ichak Dana Bichak Dana from the movie Shree 420. Her video was shared by Raveesh Kumar, the official spokesperson of MEA.. People are now sharing their instances of meeting Bollywood fans in Uzbekistan and here we have some reactions to the tweet:

Many Uzbeks can speak hindi. It was same scenario in the year 1991 when I visited Moscow and later all over CIS. Entire region had affection towards India & indian products. Very unfortunate we could not leverage it. Hopefully, India & Uzbekistan will make closer & stronger ties

Not only now,even during the Soviet days,the people from the Southern Republics were fond of Indian films including music and Indians.When I was leading a delegation,a person from this very place gave us breakfast in a Leningrad hotel at his cost despite our protestations!
