People Slam Expensive Taped Sneakers For Glorifying Poverty
A sneaker brand is now being slammed for launching an unusual pair of sneakers. They are being targeted for “mocking poverty”. We are talking about Italian sneakers brand Golden Goose. The sneaker that that people are slamming is a part of its winter collection. They are being targeted for the shoes tattered design that has a duct tape over its toes. The shoe is on sale for $530 and is known for its vintage-inspired footwear. However, people did not like it and its price and felt that the brand is “glorifying poverty”.

This is not COOL—— my mother and her siblings ALL HAD TO WEAR TAPE on their shoes.....to school. My Grandfather was fighting in WW1 & WW2 and there was no money for new shoes. Tape was and is cheap.....
