The exchange came to a halt after a technical glitch in the NSE system stopped all the segments from getting updates. People were amused to see this and NSE confirmed on its Twitter account that trading will be halted for some time. Meanwhile, people came up with memes. NSE has multiple telecom links with two service providers to ensure redundancy. We have received communication from both the telecom service providers that there are issues with their links due to which there is an impact on NSE system.
