She is been called a "toxic influence" for posting an advert promoting a dieting lollipop. The Ex-Radio 1 presenter Jameela Jamil, who runs a campaign of body positivity, said she is a "terrible and toxic influence on young girls". Jameela took to Twitter and wrote "Maybe don't take appetite suppressors and eat enough to fuel your brain and work hard and be successful,” Jameela is the founder of the I Weigh social media campaign, which encourages people to focus on getting healthy than on looks and weight. The company Kim advertises for sells diet products, including the appetite suppressant lollipops.
