Prague’s Klementinum library is one of the most beautiful libraries in the world. Other than housing 20,000 novels for your reading hunger, the library also displays a stunning Baroque architecture. Don't believe us? Well than have a look at the interiors of the library.
Hiebl is the artist behind the interior of the library. He used Trompe-l’oeil techniques, it means to open up the ceiling to the heavens. He has done that by creating an illusion of an open sky. There are symbolic designs that represent the importance of education with fantastic portraits of Jesuit saints.
