All You Need to Know About The Weekend Curfew In Delhi!

Chief Minister of Delhi announced a weekend curfew in Delhi following a surge in covid cases. Essential activities like weddings planned ahead will be allowed with curfew passes. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal suggested weekend lockdown during a meeting with Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.
Auditoriums, malls, gyms and spas will be shut down and cinema theatres will be allowed with a third of the capacity on weekdays. Dining in will be banned and only home deliveries will be allowed. Weekly markets will be allowed following restrictions.

Earlier this week, he said that lockdown is no solution to slow the spread of coronavirus cases, and that it would be imposed in Delhi only if the 'hospital system collapses'. Yesterday Delhi recorded 17,282 fresh cases of Covid-19.
