COVID-19: Guideline to Watch a Movie at Cinema Halls

The cinema halls in India are all set to become operational once again from 15 October. For the fourth phase of the unlock plan, the government has issued SOP for the reopening of cinema halls across the country. Here are the SOPs issued by the government of India for reopening of cinema halls:
Cinema halls operate with 50 per cent seating capacity.

Seats will be marked “not be occupied” to maintain distance.
Wearing face covers or face masks will be mandatory, at all times.

Installation and use of Arogya Setu app is recommended for everyone.

Thermal screening will be carried out before entering the premises.
Staggered show timings for different screens to be followed.

Regular cleaning, disinfection and sanitization of complete cinema halls and box office to be done.

Only packaged food items and beverages to be allowed inside cinema halls.
Temperature setting of all air conditioners to be between 24-30 degree Celsius.
