Town in California Chooses Dog to be its Mayor

You all have seen how corrupt the politicians are so don’t you think we deserve a better class of politicians? Or maybe a different species? No not aliens but someone who is more loyal for example dogs. A town in California, US, has done this. Check out what exactly happened below:
Hey everyone meet, Maximum Mighty Dog Mueller II, he is a golden retriever, a very loyal boy and currently the Mayor of the town of Idyllwild, California.
The name of the deputy mayor suggests that there was a predecessor and yes the town did have a Mayor Max I in 2012.
As Idyllwild is a non-incorporated town it cannot have a proper mayor so Animal Rescue Friends (RAF) decided to sponsor animal elections. Families could have their pets run for the elections!
As per ABC, the Chief of Staff of Mayor Max II described how back in 2012, there was an animal election with 14 cats and 2 dogs running for the position.
Now his successor, Mayor Max II has started his term and the residents are super happy.They have even given him his own cruiser truck to do his diplomatic duties around the town.
Each mayor needs a deputy to assist him with his large bundle of duties that he has and Mayor max has two of them- Deputy Mayors Mikey and Mitzi.
They do have a complete list of mayoral duties to fulfill. Right from riding around town like a boss in his personalized truck to his public appearances on important occasions, ribbon cutting and performing commands he does everything.
And one of the important task that they have is to pose with tourists, the local folks and the media. They are super adorable.
Also, there is a fun fact as well as all three of these dogs are descended from the OG Mayor Mac I.
