Brands Going Bananas with Ads over Rahul Bose Incident
The Rahul Bose banana incident happened recently, after that the Chandigarh JW Marriott has to pay a penalty of INR 25,000 for illegally charging GST on fruits and vegetables when they billed actor Rahul Bose INR 422 for two bananas. While the hotel would have liked to cover up the incident as soon as possible, other brands are using the controversy to point out how their services are cheaper than the two bananas.
Amazon, Oyo, Pizza hut and some other brands have come up with quirky ad campaigns on their social media handles after the incident involving Bose. Check it out below:
