Aurora Australis Illuminates Skies in Australia and New Zealand
Parts of Australia and New Zealand were stunningly lit up by the Aurora Australis which took place on April 20. People residing in Tasmania, Australia, and Queenstown, New Zealand, experienced a visual treat as a green glow covered the evening sky.
The Aurora Australis or the Southern Lights takes place when solar particles collide with atmospheric gases thereby emitting blue, purple, red, and green lights.
