Hand sanitizers have become an important part of our new normal lives. Though doctors recommend washing hands over using hand sanitizer at times we are left with no choice but to use a hand sanitizer. Now because of the high demand, not all hand sanitizers available in the market are safe or original, especially the ones launched post the pandemic. So we decided to tell you some precautions that you must talk while using hand sanitizers

Do not use a hand sanitizer right before eating

Do not buy scented or glittery hand sanitizer

The alcohol in hand sanitizer makes it highly inflammable so avoid going near flame right after using it.

Do not wash a mask with sanitiser as doing so can trap the vapours of sanitizer in the mask

Always store the hand sanitizer in an airtight bottle

Do not keep the hand sanitizer in the kitchen as they can catch fire.

Use hand sanitizer with at least 60 per cent alcohol in order for it to be effective.

Tip: Squirt some sanitizer into the palm of one hand and rub hands together even in between the fingers to stay safe.
