A Weird Sculpture is Freaking Out People in New Zealand

No doubt every art needs to be praised and deserves appreciation for its handwork as every craft has its own uniqueness but some just go out of the box which is hard to understand. Recently people in New Zealand’s Wellington were shocked yet surprised to see a terrifying hand gazing at them from the top of an art gallery building. 

A five-metre tall sculpture of a hand with a face was flown in from the South Island via a helicopter and the sight left many people in the town and online talking about it.

This creepy artwork is known as ‘Quasi’ and is named after Quasimodo, the popular character in Victor Hugo’s 1831 iconic book ‘The Hunchback of Notre Dame’.
