Netizens Excited as “Statue of Unity” is Visible from Space

India now has the tallest statue in the world “Statue of Unity”,which is 182 meters. Recently Planet Lac, the world’s leading satellite network shared a picture that showed the huge statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel from the space. Yes, the statue is visible from the space. The project was completed in 42 months and around 3,400 laborers and 250 engineers worked to complete the giant statue. It costed around INR 2,989 crore and it is twice the height of the Statue of Liberty in the US.

The company shared the satellite image of the statue and wrote: At 597 feet, India’s Statue of Unity is now the tallest statue in the world and clearly seen from space!” The Oblique SkySat image was captured on November 15, 2018, they added.
