Whether it is a scandal or bankruptcy, corporate companies also suffer from hard times, but they always find their way back. So here is the list of popular companies that fought bankruptcy.

• IBM

The company almost went bankrupt in 1993. IBM has seen many ups and downs but today it’s worth over $100B.

• Nokia

Nokia lost 96% of its market share between 2007 and 2012. But after that they came back to the market.

• Lego

The company went almost bankrupt in 2003 but the new CEO took over and covered up.

• Apple

Yes, our favorite smartphone brand Apple had its worst year in 1997. Apple had lost over $1B on an expansive line of products that included flops.

• Tesla and SpaceX

It is difficult to believe that the company that sent a car into space was once bankrupt. In 2008 the company nearly went bankrupt.

• Starbucks

The company lost its 42% stock value in 2007. Starbucks closed 600 stores and laid off 12,000 workers in July 2008. But by the end of 2010, the company was back in the game.

• Polaroid

Polaroid went bankrupt twice between 2001 and 2008.
