The masks have become an essential part of our wardrobe as the pandemic has caused people to wear them out. Since our faces are covered most of the time, it is hard to understand if the person speaking to us is being friendly or not which may hamper the business for many stores. So a Japanese store named Takeya came up with a 'smile campaign' in which they are selling face masks with a smile printed on them.
This helps the employees working at the store look more friendly to the customers.
