Shocking! This Bird Got Arrested for Shoplifting

Someone said it true that laws are the same for everyone and recently Dutch police proved this statement right. Recently a tiny parakeet bird was held in a jail cell in the Netherlands after its owner was arrested for shoplifting. According to the cops they caught her because he was the partner in crime.

The police shared the picture of a yellow and green bird while sitting in the cell.

The police wrote “We recently arrested a suspect for shoplifting. During the arrest we found a sneaky witness with feathers and beak on the suspect’s shoulder. “During the confinement on our desk, we were shocked to find out that we are not in possession of a bird cell or cage. After proper consultation with the suspect, we have enclosed them together,” the post added. The cops also added the bird was being “well cared for”.

The post immediately went viral and resulted in mixed reactions. Many made jokes of it while some bird lovers were angry and wanted the police to free her as soon as possible.
