Meme Fest: Ronaldo's Coca Cola Stunt at Euro 2020

Recently, Cristiano Ronaldo picked up two glass bottles of Coca-Cola, set them aside, and held up a bottle of water instead at The EURO 2020 press conference. This has cost a big loss to the brand and the market value of the beverage brand dropped by a huge $4 billion. His act also prompted people to share hilarious memes using the hashtag #CocaCola.

Ahead of Portugal vs Hungary match on June 15, Ronaldo accompanied Portugal coach Fernando Santos to the pre-match press conference where this coca-cola incident  took place.

As per sources, Coca-Cola, which is also one of the official sponsors of Euro 2020, replied with a statement that “everyone is entitled to their drink preferences” with different “tastes and needs”. Even though the stunt caused them a big loss.
