Celebs React to Pro-Trump Mob Storming Captiol
The internet is loaded with photos and clips of thousands of Trump supporters storming the US Capitol in a violent insurrection. The political leaders and Twitter users are describing the mob simply as "supporters'' engaging in "protests." But what took place at the nation's Capital was no protest. It can be called an attack on American democracy and celebrities have also joined the conversation, demanding that both those in power and the public in general call out these perpetrators for the dangerous acts they've committed. They are not protesters; they are domestic terrorists who deliberately attempted an insurrection and should be treated as such.
Roxane Gay, Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, and more also criticized both law enforcement and the public's response to the glaring racism of the of the situation.
Just think of the carnage had they not been white.

These people are TERRORISTS. They are not protestors.
— Lili Reinhart (@lilireinhart) January 6, 2021
So... there terrorists are just calmly wandering around the senate chamber without... resistance? Must be nice.

The irony is pretty funny.........weren’t people just wild animals in the summer for demanding justice and now?????????????????......Let me just watch.

Peaceful protesters during BLM were beaten, tear gassed, arrested , treated with BRUTALITY and you’re telling me that the capitol is being stormed and there is hardly any show of force to stop it ? This speaks for itself.

This is an attempted coup to keep a reality tv star in power.

The President says “we love you” to a mob that stormed and terrorized the capitol. It’s ironic that this person has been so enabled by a Congress that meets in the place his rhetoric has manifested into real violence. #deepthoughts

CNN is calling them the Pro-Trump mob, while Fox refers to them as protestors. Let’s remember what the latter referred to ANY supporter of #BLM not so long ago...

Make no mistake: if this was Black Lives Matter protest? Y’all think BLM in Pelosi’s chair wouldn’t have been dealt with?

First, Twitter locked him out of his account for 12 hours. Now, Facebook just locked him out of his account, too, for 24 hours.
Kudos to the social media giants for showing Trump that his time's up.
Time to leave the White House.????

It’s time for you all to silence @realDonaldTrump pic.twitter.com/7Xw1iyfJzw
Just a thought. But if Twitter has decided that Trump is unfit to tweet tonight, perhaps the Cabinet should consider whether he's fit to retain control of the nuclear codes.
