Celebrities Mourn the Death of Fashion Designer Karl Lagerfeld

Yesterday was a sad day for the fashion industry as they lost one of its iconic and renowned German-born designer Karl Lagerfeld. He was the creative director of luxury French fashion house Chanel since 1983 and served as the top designer for Fendi as well. Members of the fashion community, including designers, stylists, models, and celebrities are shocked by the sudden loss and took to social media to pay tribute to the fashion designer. Lagerfeld, who was in his 80s, died early Tuesday in Paris. He dominated the fashion industry with his creative clothing and styling for around 40 years.
“Today, not only have I lost a friend, but we have all lost an extraordinary creative mind to whom I gave carte blanche in the early 1980s to reinvent the brand.” said the CEO of Chanel, Alain Wertheimer.
