Aurora Australis Illuminates Skies in Australia and New Zealand

Parts of Australia and New Zealand were stunningly lit up by the Aurora Australis which took place on April 20. People residing in Tasmania, Australia, and Queenstown, New Zealand, experienced a visual treat as a green glow covered the evening sky.
The Aurora Australis or the Southern Lights takes place when solar particles collide with atmospheric gases thereby emitting blue, purple, red, and green lights.
People living in Tasmania and Queenstown who witnessed the Aurora Australis posted pictures and videos of the gorgeous natural light show and they are a treat for the eyes.
