The company aims to see around 1000 units of air cans. Company’s president Minoru Inamoto said: Air is free of charge but we hope people will enjoy breathing the fresh air of Heisei after the new era comes, or just keep it as a momento,”
These cans have been produced in the central Japanese village of Henari and are easily available.
The cans consist of, “the air of the current era” along with a five-yen coin, often considered a lucky charm.
Not only this firm but companies across the country are trying to produce a product that marks the end of the ongoing era. The new era “Reiwa” will commence from 1st May when Naruhito will ascend the Chrysanthemum Throne.
